[Cut to Tony Summit backstage, doing
journalist stuff.]
Summit: Ladies and gentleman at this time I
would like to introduce
the WCCW Southwest Heavyweight Champion, and the Young Lions Wrestling
ALPHA
Champion, also a man who will be headed into a fatal 4 way match at
NWA’s
Wrestlebowl this Tuesday against four of the best the WCCW has to offer
in an
attempt to become the first ever Undisputed WCCW Heavyweight Champion,
oh, and
he also never forgets my Ten Percent, he is “The Rising Star” Jay
Jousma!!!
[Jay walks into the frame, he is wearing a
black T-Shirt that says
“Madness” across the chest, circa 2000-ish, from the Turner days,
paying
tribute to one of his fallen idols. On his right shoulder rests the
WCCW
Southwest title, and on his left shoulder rests the YLW ALPHA title.
For the
first time on television in quite some time, we see that “The Rising
Star” is
cracking a smile, a glimmer of positivity in his eye.]
Summit: Jay, what are your thoughts as you
watch the action tonight,
preparing for your match at Wrestlebowl?
Jay: Tony, it’s funny you ask. What better
way for me to sit back and
scout some of these guys, than to see them in their last match before
our
little shindig at Wrestlebowl in Vegas. First we have to watch Lake
Storm try,
as he faces off against Scooter Myers. Then, then well we have Zak
Phenom. He
seems to have taken some offense to things I’ve said about him, and
that’s
alright, at least he was respectful about it, however Zak, you’ve got
no easy
feat going into Wrestlebowl, tonight you wrestle “The Natural” Terence
Harris!
[Jay smirks a little, getting in closer to
the camera.]
Jay: Hey, Natural, I know how things have
been lately, and that’s
cool. I like your drive, your intensity, and willingness to get things
done, it’s
good to see that you’re in the zone since coming back at ides, but um…
there’s
just one thing…
[Jay hoists the Southwest title from his
shoulder, and places it in
front of the camera.]
Jay: You see this? This right here means I’m
the biggest thing going
in Texas right now, and I think that goes without saying. I also
believe you
should respectfully let me have my place, my friend. I mean c’mon,
you’re the
NWA North American Champion right now for crying out loud you’ve got
all of
North America to say that you’re the biggest thing going for, and if
all goes
well come the Wrestlebowl match, you could be in line to be the biggest
thing
going in the wrestling world, at least let me have Texas for now, oh…
and
Australia, if not Australasia altogether; wherever that is... Therefore
Terence, I’ll accept your apology in advance. I mean, besides… Dude,
you
simulcasted with BACW… It’s well known facts that according to alliance
folklore and legend, those guys in BACW are sworn enemies of ours down
here in
World Class! It’s alright though dude, a paycheck is a paycheck. Good
luck in
the ring with Zak, but I wish you more luck at Wrestlebowl, if anyone
can kick
Randell’s ass that’s within striking range, it’s you.
Summit: Well that was most certainly a tirade…
Jay: I guess I got a little off-topic.
However, back to what I’m
saying. It is a general consensus that while I may be kept from the
World title
picture for as long as humanly possible these days, the fans will speak
differently, and they will tell you who the best in the wrestling world
is, and
you’re looking at him. So if you ask me, it would be all too fitting if
the
biggest damn draw in Texas and the Southwest, and even Australia as far
as
wrestling goes today could walk into The Joint in Vegas, and once again
unify
the Texas and Southwest championships, being the last man to hold both,
as I
was during the last incarnation of World Class Championship Wrestling
way back
in 2005. However, while two titles lineages come to an end, a new one
begins…
one of prestige, honor, representation of the greatest art form on the
face of
the planet in professional wrestling, and representative of the
greatest
promotion, and fan base that the National Wrestling Alliance has ever
seen,
World Class Championship Wrestling. I’m not going to lie about the fact
that
it’s been a dark road for me as of late, but you’ve heard it all, and
all of
you sitting’ at home, and back in that locker room can rest assured
that the
new and improved me is a lot like the old me, when I had my shit
together, in
other words, ask anyone in that locker room if I can be stopped at this
point,
you already know Tony; that there isn’t a soul back there who has the
courage
to say that I could. For my fans, for my peers, and for those who I
have a
score to settle with, like Shane Anderson, come Tuesday; justice will
be
served!
