*The Bell tolls once, twice, then a third time*

*sequence begins with the classic opening music of WCCW, and we see a montage of past WCCW superstars.  The final shot is of Sudden Impact; Chris wearing the WCCW Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist.  Scene shifts to the inside of a sold-out Ford Pavilion in Beaumont, Texas, as we head down to ringside and the announce team of Marc Lowrance and Terry Michaels*

Marc Lowrance- Good evening, wrestling fans, and welcome to Nightmare!!!  *thunderous pop from the fans*  I’m Marc Lowrance, and with me is my broadcast partner, Terry Michaels.  Terry, we got us a pretty good show tonight.

Terry Michaels- Sure do, Marc.  Here’s the lineup:

                                Citizen X takes on William Dawes

                                WCCW Old School Champion Princeton Michaels takes on “Big Daddy” Justin Dawes in a non-title match.

                                And, in the Main Event, the WCCW Tag Team Champions, the Darkstar Brothers, defend the titles against  the team of Zak Phenom and Aaron Shepherd, also known as The Absolved.  And without further ado, let’s head down to ringside and the first match.

Citizen X vs. William Dawes

Bob Bradley - This match is scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring at this time,  weighing in at 226 pounds, from Parts Unknown, Citizen X!!! [ "More Human Than Human" begins to play as Citizen X makes his way to ringside.]

Bob Bradley - His opponent,  weighing in at 257 pounds, from Brownville, Texas, William Dawes!!! [Dope Boys by The Game plays as Dawes make shis way to ringside.  Citizen X walks around the ring. Pat Wolfe checks Dawes's boots and knee pads. (ring, ring, ring) Citizen X delivers a short-arm clothesline to William Dawes. William Dawes climbs to his feet. William Dawes takes Citizen X down with a knee. ]

Terry Michaels – Nice knee by Dawes.

[Citizen X gets back to his feet. Citizen X hits Dawes with the back of his elbow. Dawes hits a right jab, then a left jab, Citizen X stumbles back. Citizen X short-arm clotheslines William Dawes to the mat. ]

Marc Lowrance –Citizen X darn near tore Dawes’ head off with that clothesline!

[Dawes grabs Citizen X by the arm and breaks it over his shoulder. Citizen X hits William with the back of his elbow. ]

Terry Michaels - William takes a  weak back elbow.

[Citizen X short-arm clotheslines William to the mat. ]

Marc Lowrance – And another clothesline by Citizen X.  Does this guy know anything else?

[Citizen X grabs Dawes and applies an arm wrench. Dawes stands up. Citizen X get whipped into the corner and William follows him in with an avalanche.  Dawes sucks chants start in the crowd. William Dawes and Citizen X go to the floor Pat Wolfe starts the count (.1) William picks up Citizen X and hits him with the Death Valley Driver. Dawes gets up. Citizen X stands up. They head back into the ring. ]

Marc Lowrance - These guys could put a little more damn effort into this match!

Terry Michaels – Nope, too much like work.

[Dawes dropkicks Citizen X. Now Dawes standing. Dawes sends Citizen X to ringside. ]

Marc Lowrance - Submissions don't count at ringside, so get your candy asses out of here!

[Pat Wolfe starts the count (.1) (..2) Dawes kicks Citizen X on the floor. (...3) William Dawes stomps Citizen X's head. (....4) Citizen X hits William Dawes with the back of his elbow. (.....5) William takes Citizen X into the ring. Dawes neck snaps Citizen X. ]

Terry Michaels – Well, at least Dawes has more moves in his arsenal, as he takes Citizen X down with a neck snap.

[Citizen X hits William with the back of his elbow. William Dawes hiptosses Citizen X. Dawes kicks Citizen X on the mat.]

Marc Lowrance – Oh, sure, kick the guy when he’s down!

[Citizen X is back on his feet. Citizen X trys for a German suplex but Dawes avoids it. William Dawes gets locked in the painful STF. Pat Wolfe is checking for a tap out. ... Citizen X tightens the hold. ... Citizen X tightens the hold. ... (AHHHH!) ... William Dawes escapes. ]

Terry Michaels – Oh, wow!  Citizen X actually knows more moves than clotheslines!

[Dawes picks up Citizen X and hits him with the Death Valley Driver. Citizen X climbs to his feet. Dawes grabs Citizen X's head and DDT's him on the mat. William Dawes gets up. Dawes hits Citizen X with a moonsault after springboarding off of the second rope. William Dawes climbs to his feet. Citizen X, lying on the mat, is hammered by an elbow drop out of the corner. Now William standing. William Dawes leaps from the top turnbuckle with a senton splash, landing back first on Citizen X's chest. William Dawes sucks chants start in the crowd. Dawes gorrilla presses Citizen X. William Dawes goes for a pin. The ref starts the count. ...1 ...2 ...3 ]

voice: "Have you learned nothing? Have you not learned that you have to make your own opportunities in this line of business?"

(Darkness falls inside the arena and a cold chill takes hold)

voice: "In November of 1998 I did exactly that..."

(The voice then trails off. The lights come back on)

Marc Lowrance: What in the hell was that all about?

(Confusion is etched on his face and after a few moments, he composes himself and continues with the show.)

Princeton Michaels vs. Justin Dawes

Bob Bradley - This match is a non-title match, scheduled for one fall. On his way to the ring at this time,  weighing in at 236 pounds, from Death Valley, AZ he is the WCCW Old School Champion, Princeton Michaels!!! [Princeton Michaels comes to the ring. ]

Bob Bradley - His opponent,  weighing in at 295 pounds, from Orlando, Florida by way of Brownsville, Texas, Justin Dawes!!! [Frankenstein by Phish Princeton Michaels tests out the ropes. Big Daddy tests out the ropes. (the bell rings) Princeton Michaels rakes the face of Justin in attempt to make a come back. Princeton Michaels grabs Dawes and hits him with a European uppercut. ]

["Stranglehold" by Ted Nugent plays as David and Keith make their way to ringside ]

[The Absolved walk to the ring. Pat Wolfe is the referee for this match. Shepherd walks around the ring. (ding, ding, ding) David Darkstar punches Aaron repeatedly. David Darkstar puts Shepherd on the top turnbuckle and locks in a full nelson and slams him to the mat. Keith Darkstar tagged in by David Darkstar. Keith Darkstar uses a closed fist on Aaron. ]

Terry Michaels – Keith is trying to clean Shepherd’s clock with that punch!

(Turn the Page by Bob Segar begins to play as once again the lights go dim. The big screen comes to life as past wrestlers from World Class begins to flash on the screen.)

Marc Lowarance: Here we go again folks.

(As the pics of wrestlers past continue to show on the screen, again the little girls voice is heard as the arena goes dark again.)

girls voice again: "You still don't get it do you?"

Marc: Who is she talking about?

voice: "You have to create your own breaks here in World Class, just like I had to do."

Marc: Who is she talking about?

voice: "In November of 1998 I created my own break, and it propelled me to the top in not only World Class, but the NWA as well. While I made the most of my opportunities, you've done nothing but complain."

(The symbol of World Class Championship Wrestling appears on the screen)

voice: "For that is not how true legends are to be remembered. Not in the NWA, and most certainly not in World Class."

(The state of Texas and a lightning bolt now appear on the big screen with the World Class symbol as the background.)

voice: "You have to be shown the way, and for that, I'm returning home."

Marc: What does this mean?

voice: "I'm returning home to finally set you straight."

Marc: To set who straight? Wait a minute...

(A shocked look comes across his face. He believes he has finally figured it out.)

Marc: Could it be? Could it be that....

(Marc Lowrance waves it off)

Marc: No way, it couldn't be him. It couldn't be Texas Light...

voice: "The final countdown has begun"

(A thunderous cheer erupts in the arena. "The Final Countdown" was in fact the entrance music for Texas Lightning, one of the legends of World Class Championship Wrestling.)

Marc: Oh my God, it is him. Someone has just pulled off a huge coup here in World Class. It appears that Texas Lightning is now on his way back, and he has his eyes set on somebody. Can you imagine RJ Harris, Ryan Corey, and NOW Texas Lightning all now back in the NWA. Stay tuned ladies and gentlemen, because things are about to get interesting.

(As the credits roll, the final shot is on the big screen who continues to show the World Class symbol with the state of Texas and lightning bolt embedded.)

POST-SHOW (IN THE BOSS’S OFFICE)

*everybody that is participating in the Thesz is gathered around Gorgas’ desk, as he’s watching the last minutes of Nightmare.  Gorgas is definitely not happy.*

Gorgas:  Texas Lightning?!!!  I don’t think so.  If TL was about to show up around here, I would know about it already.  I have absolutely NO idea who keeps sending me these flipping tapes, but I suspect we’ll be finding out real soon.  *leans back in his chair and lights a cigar*  First, congrats to the Absolved.  Aaron, Zak, you got you some momentum going.  No small feat, considering who you just beat.  Keep it going, and you’ll walk out of Auburn Hills as the NWA World Tag Team Champions.  *Aaron and Zak start grinning*  The rest of you guys, the Thesz is five days after the next Nightmare, which is number 50.  Yeah, the big 5-0.  Which means we have to do something big.  Since I don’t wanna risk you guys getting hurt or distracted before the Thesz, I’m going to have to build a show with the rest of the roster.  Not much of a problem, we got some new meat coming in.  Except you, Chris.  Under the rules of the WCCW Board, you got a mandatory title match coming up on 50.  You got a date with the Deadman.

Chris Fury:  Darkstar?!!!!  Why him, for f*&k’s sake?

Tom Gorgas:  One, I don’t play favorites.  I’m going to do whatever it takes to put butts in the seat, which is why I agreed on this little thing we got going now.  The day it stops putting tails in the seats is the day I stop running it.  Second, you don’t defend the belt within 30 days, I automatically have to strip you of it.  Not my idea, them are the rules.  And, Darkstar is the ONLY Main Eventer we got that is NOT going to the Thesz.  So, get ready, you get the Deadman and you will Main Event Nightmare 50!
