that his fists rest in front of his shoulders. Eric Bruce emerges from
the backstage area, his NWA World Television Championship belt is

[The beat continues as the WCCW Nightmare logo blasts on the screen
dripping blood. The camera pans the arena as you see it's jam packed
with fans and the pyro goes off. ]
*scene opens
in the office of the new WCCW Commissioner, Southwest Sports CEO
Jonathan
Darkstar. He’s on the phone, talking
heatedly. David Darkstar is sitting on
the couch, and Marc Lowrance and Adam Pearce are sitting on chairs in
front of
Jon’s desk…*
Jonathan
Darkstar: What do you mean?
SNC won’t take our offer for the
contracts? Oh, well. New
Year, new team, I guess. Ok, talk at you
later. *Jon hangs up*
Marc, Terry, looks like you are the team. SNC
wouldn’t bite on the lucrative offer I
gave them. Of course, I had a feeling
when they took two of our referees with them.
Head out, I’m right behind you.
*Marc and Adam get up and leave.*
Dave, bring the belts. Let’s do
this.
*scene
shifts to a view of a jam-packed Reunion Arena in Dallas.
We can see fans everywhere, and tons of WCCW
signs all over the place. We head down
to ringside and Joe Pediceno and Joel Warner.*
Joe
Pediceno: Good evening, wrestling fans,
and welcome to World Class Championship Wrestling!!!!!
*before Joe can continue, the bell sounds,
and the fans go crazy, as Jonathan Darkstar walks out to the top of the
ramp,
dressed head to toe in a matching Armani suit, black Italian loafers,
and his
trademark black Stetson, mic in hand.*
Jonathan
Darkstar: Hold on there, Pediceno! You see, we can’t very well continue to use
you, because your contracts are exclusively with SNC Corporations. And since SNC no longer runs things around
here, your contracts are no good. I’m
sure that SNC has jobs for you, just not with WCCW.
Ladies and gentlemen, your new announce
team- the legendary voice of WCCW, Marc
Lowrance, and his partner, Terry Michaels.
*Marc and Terry head down to ringside, shake hands with Pediceno
and
Warner, who leave to a standing ovation for all the work they have done. Marc and Terry don the headsets, and begin the
new era.*
Marc
Lowrance: Thank you, wrestling
fans. I’m Marc Lowrance, and welcome to
a new era here in World Class Championship Wrestling.
It’s 2011, and tonight is New
Beginnings!!! *thunderous ovation from
the fans* With me is my
new partner, Adam Pearce. But I understand
we’re not done with the
boss. Let’s head up to the ring for a
special ceremony.
*camera
shifts to the middle of the ring, where Jonathan and David Darkstar are
standing there behind a table where 4 sets of title belts are sitting.*
Jonathan
Darkstar: Thank you, Marc.
Boy, what a wild couple of weeks it’s
been. First, my old buddy Terrence
Harris gets hurt in a car accident. He’s
still recovering in the hospital, my prayers are with you, buddy. Then, we get the announcement that WCCW was
closing. A lot of the roster immediately
started looking for new jobs. Then,
following all that, SNC’s lawyers get in touch with me at my offices,
and
spring the deal of all deals on me.
After a little over 12 years, Southwest Sports now has the crown
jewel
of Texas Wrestling back in the fold.
It’s official, Southwest Sports now owns exclusively all WCCW
property,
and all wrestler contracts were transferred over. Now,
I know some of you guys in the back may
not like me, some of you may hate me, but I’m gonna tell you this: I’m a fair and impartial man.
If I feel you have earned a shot at the
belts, by damn, you’re going to get that shot, plain and simple! First things, though, you got to show me
something. That means maximum effort for
our great fans! And WCCW Fans are the
most rabid fans in the entire world, right?
*the fans literally tear the roof off with the thunderous pop
that
erupts* Now, on to other matters. The belts currently being held by our
champions are property of SNC. We can’t
use them. No problem.
When we sold WCCW to SNC all those years ago,
a little clause in the contract allowed Southwest Sports to keep the
ORIGINAL
belts! So, we’re going to have us a
little ceremony to switch out the belts.
First off, I want William Dawes, the reigning Southwest X
Champion, out
here. *William Dawes walks out to
ringside.*
Will, New
Year, New Beginnings. Your title is the
one most changed. It is now the WCCW
Southwest Old School Championship. You
see, that belt represents the old Cruiserweight, Hardcore Triple Threat
and TV Titles..
*Dylan hands over his title, and David helps him strap on the
WCCW Southwest Old School Title belt.* Wear
it with
all the prestige and honor that belt deserves.
And now, Hangman Hawkins, our reigning Texas Heavyweight
Champion, come
on down! *Hawkins comes walking out to a
chorus of boos, and climbs in the ring.*
Hawkins, you and I may not see eye to eye as competitors, but I
recognize talent when I see it, and I think you’re going to make one
hell of a
Texas Heavyweight Champion. *Jon holds
up the WCCW Texas Heavyweight Championship belt* This
is one of the most legendary belts in
the NWA. The list of men that have worn
this belt and gone on to win NWA Gold is long and distinguished. I’m talking the likes of the Von Erichs,
folks! *tremendous pop from the
crowd* Hangman, wear it well!
*Hawkins hands over his belt, and Jon himself
helps Hangman strap on the WCCW Texas Heavyweight Title belt. Hawkins and Darkstar shake hands, then
Hawkins leaves the ring.*
Jonathan:
And now, I want the Movement out here. *Novell
and Greenman walk out to a mixed
reaction. David holds up the WCCW
Southwest Tag
Team Title belts, as Jonathan continues.*
Movement, the belts I’m about to give you have a very bloody
history. Some of the most violent feuds
in NWA history have been fought over these titles.
The Darkstar Brothers vs The Texas Outlaws
comes to mind. There have been a couple
of teams that have even gone on to become NWA World Tag Team Champions. Wear them well, boys. *Jon
and David help strap the WCCW Tag Team
Title belts on Novell and Greenman*
Okay, last but not least, I want the WCCW Southwest Heavyweight
Champion
out here. Aaron Shepherd, where ya at? *Aaron Shepherd walks out, belt in hand* Aaron, I know you from XOW, and I think
you’re going to do well. You see, I have
a personal interest in the belt I’m about to give you.
You see, for a while, WCCW was independent
and the belt I’m presenting you with was known for a time as the WCCW
World
Heavyweight Title. We rejoined the NWA,
and it lost its world status, but during that time, there was only one
WCCW
World Heavyweight Champion. That man was
me. The list of people that have held
this title is long and distinguished, and a lot of them have gone on to
become
the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
Think about that every time you strap on that belt, and treat it
with
all the prestige and honor it truly deserves.
*Jon helps Shepherd strap on the WCCW Southwest Heavyweight
Title belt. Shepherd leaves the ring, and
Jonathan
continues.*
Once again, I wanna thank you for being here tonight, and stick
around
folks, going to be one hell of a ride.
Welcome to WCCW, where what was Old School is New Again! Back to you, Marc! *Jon
leaves to a thunderous ovation*
Marc:
Thank you, Jonathan. We got a
tremendous show in store for
tonight. Here’s the rundown-
The team of The Beautiful People,
Mike and Pete Turner; take on the team of Woods and Gunns.
The Turners are former NWA World Tag Team
Champions, but haven’t been in a WCCW ring in a while.
Woods and Gunns should give them quite a match.
Eric Draven takes on William Dawes
for the WCCW Southwest Old School Championship.
This could be quite a match, as Draven is an unknown quantity,
and
Justin Dawes could pop up out of nowhere.
We shall see.
New Tradition’s Lake Storm takes on
Hangman Hawkins for the WCCW Texas Heavyweight Title.
Hawkins has been on a roll lately, can Lake
put the brakes on him?
The Movement takes on the NWA World
Tag Team Champions, Ascended Supremacy, for the biggest belts in the
world! Can Novell and Greenman complete
their meteoric rise to the top and become the World Tag Team Champions? Stay tuned!
“The Modern Day Messiah” Scott Adams
takes on GAETAN! LaValle for the NWA World TV Title!
*thunderous boos and chants of “Paper
Champion” start erupting through the
crowd* Can Adams prove to the world that
LaValle is a paper champion, or will LaValle dodge the bullet yet again?
And in a Main Event that’s been 12
years in the making, former WCCW Southwest Heavyweight Champion Chris
Fury gets
his shot,
as he takes on Michael “Snake Eyes” Cavenaugh for the NWA World
Heavyweight
Championship!
Without further ado, LET THE

V/O: YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE!!
[ATLiens by Outkast hits as the crowd is trying to figure out who or
what this is.]
Michaels: Well what the hell is this?
Lowrance: I have no idea.
#Well it's the M - I - crooked letter, ain't no one better
#And when I'm on the microphone you best to wear your sweater
#Cause I'm cooler than a polar bear's toenails
#Oh hell, there he go again talkin that shit
#Bend, corner's like I was a curve, I struck a nerve
#And now you bout to see this Southern playa serve
[The lights flicker with the beat as out from the back walks Mike
Harris wearing a nice suit. The crowd goes nuts as he stops as the top
of the stage. Throws his fist into the air and lowers his head
mimicking his brother's entrance.]
Lowrance: Mike Harris? What is he doing here?
#I heard it's not where you're from but where you pay rent
#Then I heard it's not what you make but how much you spent
#you got me bent like elbows, amongst other things, nut I'm not worried
#Cause when we step up in the party, like I'm out-you-scurry
[From the back walks Renee Harris as she walks up next to her
brother-in-law. The crowd again pops. She stands next to Mike with a
big smile on her face.]
Michaels: Now what the hell is all this about?
[Within a few seconds of Renee's entrance, out walks the man everyone
loves to hate, William Tocci. The crowd erupts in a torrent of boos as
the three make their way towards the ring.]
Lowrance: Tocci? He has got a lot of nerve showing up here.
#So go get your fuckin' shine box, and your sack of nickles
#It tickles to see you try to be like Mr. Pickles
#Daddy fat sacks, B-I-G B-O-I
#It's that same motherfucka that took them knuckles to your eye
Michaels: You know I should get in that ring and kick the crap out of
all three of them.
Lowrance: You would beat on a woman?
Michaels: Ok maybe not Renee, but the other two for sure.
[The three stand in the ring as the chorus of both boos and cheers
continues.]
Lowrances: They don't even own the place anymore. What is this all
about?
[Tocci walks to the ropes and asks Bob Bradley for a mic. He walks back
to the center of the ring as the crowd starts to settle down.]
WT: Ladies and gentlemen, first I want to thank Jonathan Darkstar and
Southwest Sports for the time they have given us here tonight.
[The crowd pops.]
WT: Now over the past month there has been a lot of things said, and
rumors flying everywhere. So we thought we would come out here and let
everyone know what is going on.
[The crowd still booing slightly as Tocci talks.]
Michaels: This should be interesting.
WT: As you all know, WCCW is and always has been a major entertainment
product for years. But tonight we wanted to come out here, not playing
the characters that we have portrayed for so many years on TV. We
wanted to do things a bit different. We wanted to let you in on what
actually has been going on the last month, and the last few months.
Lowrance: He's breaking the fourth wall! Why would Darkstar let him do
this?
Michaels: Maybe it was in the sales contract.
WT: You see over things started taking a turn a few months ago when I
became the NWA Vice President. The business aspect of the alliance was
a daunting task that was draining on me, at least in the NWA office.
Not much different from running WCCW though. But with some work things
were starting to pick up. At the same time, WCCW was starting to
faulter a little. Talent no showing house shows. A few very lucritive
contracts for some high valued individuals that within weeks walked out
with guaranteed money. SNC Corporations was losing money. Terence gave
up his position as Chairman, with the acception being his wife take
over. Which was fine with us. Anyways, to recoup some of the money we
lost we put out the word that WCCW was for sale. With no real interest
and the occurance that happened on December 5, 2010 with Terence's
accident, we were more concerned about family rather than continuing to
lose money. But with some luck, Jonathan Darkstar finally got back to
us and made a very generous offer to buy WCCW back. It was a great run,
and we enjoyed giving you what you paid for.
[Tocci hands the mic over to Mike.]
MH: We all want to thank you for the years of support you gave the
WCCW. It was a really tough thing for all of us to have to give up such
a great experience as WCCW is. We all thank you.
[Mike hands the mic back to Bradley as Tocci, Renee, and himself leave

heading
towards him.]
Jay: Jon do you mind telling me what the hell this is?!?!
Darkstar: It’s event staff security, what does it look like to you?
Jay: Well, obviously there’s some sort of mistake. See, apparently you
forgot
to put me on the list for clearance backstage…
Darkstar: Not exactly, well I didn’t exactly forget anyway.
Jay: What? I mean, first you don’t even book me for this event, now I’m
not
allowed backstage? What the hell are you trying to do here? If you want
me to
walk Jon, I’ll do it, then you’ll be shit out of luck my friend.
[Darkstar faces off with Jousma, towering over him.]
Darkstar: First of all, don’t tell me how do to my job. Second of all,
threats
get nowhere with me, understand? You may have been able to do whatever
the hell
you wanted to Mike Harris, newsflash pal, I’m not him. Third, I’m not
the one
with the overinflated ego who needed everyone to know what the hell he
was
going to do with his career and held off his public announcement until
a day
after the announcement for this card, so who’s fault is that?
Jay: We still had three weeks after that Jon this is bullsh-
Darkstar: I’M NOT FINISHED DAMNIT! Fourth, obviously if you go posting
certain
things on social media accounts like twitter, people are going to
obviously
find out about it. Do you think I’m very proud of the fact that I had
to hire
security to keep you from destroying the competitors in my main event
tonight
before it even begins? I know you’ve got something to settle with Snake
Eyes,
and I know all about your history with Fury, but this event is
important for
the future of WCCW under Southwest Sports, and I can’t have you getting
involved with that title match.
Jay: And what about Saddler? I can’t be involved, but Saddler is
allowed to be
at ringside? What the hell Jon?!? I really thought you had a better
head on
your shoulders than this. You know what can happen out there.
Darkstar: Listen, we need this right now. If you care about WCCW,
you’ll heed
my advisement here. We are in a position where we are made or broken
here
tonight, and I’m not about to take any chances that we are broken! You
are just
as big a part of WCCW as anybody here, but we just can’t afford the
risk right
now.
Jay: Have you paid attention to anything in the past year? You can’t be
serious
right now.
[Darkstar moves in closer.]
Darkstar: Jay, I’m saying this once, and only once. In case you forgot,
I’m now
your boss. However, that still doesn’t mean I won’t hurt you. I don’t
care who
you are, or what you mean to this company, if you keep it up, I’ll make
sure
that ankle of yours is crushed beyond repair, and then some. The only
thing I
can say to you is that I best suggest you get out of here. Don’t make
me do
anything I don’t want to do.
[Jousma takes a step back, perhaps realizing that tangling with his
employer is
probably not a good idea.]
Jay: If you say so, but if you let things go the way they probably will
out
there, you’ll be sorry Jon.

he’s taking from me. My PRIDE. And NOBODY takes my pride. It can’t go
on.
Terry Michaels: Is he FORFEITING?
Marc Lowrance: Shh. Listen.
[The crowd is listening.]
LaValle: . You are alright- I did NOT win it from him the way I should
have.
That’s no way to be a champion. So, I have an announcement to make.
Marc Lowrance: Yeah, he’s forfeiting .
LaValle (looking at the mat, low tone): I challenge Eric Bruce.
[The crowd loses it.]
Terry Michaels: WHAT?!
Marc Lowrance: He’s giving the “Winning Lottery Ticket” BACK, is ‘what’!
LaValle (picking up steam now): BRUCE! Come back, face me properly, and
FIGHT !
[The crowd is cheering much the way they’d egg on the kid in “A
Christmas
Story” to stick his tongue on the flagpole.]
Terry Michaels: ‘Heading back to The Chair to give it another try’ is
more like
it!
[LaValle goes as far as unhooking the TV Title, laying it in on the mat
in
front of him, and making a ‘come get it’ gesture. The crowd is now in
full-on
‘encourage the nut’ mode.]
Terry Michaels : …He’s CRAZY! Why would he go BACK an ass-kicking he
already
avoided taking?
Marc Lowrance: Pride?
[LaValle is being given the ‘time is short’ gesture, as the next event
has to
start. He collects the title and heads backstage.]
Terry Michaels: And I don’t know WHERE Bruce is right now, but I KNOW
he’s got
friends here. Frenchbread’s just ASKING for a beatdown! Where’s the
‘pride’ in
THAT?!
Mike
"Snake
Eyes" Cavenaugh vs Chris Fury (NWA World Heavyweight Championship)
Bill
Smith: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time
for our MAIN EVENT!!! The following contest is scheduled for one fall,
and is
for the vacant NWA Heavyweight Championship of the World!!!!
[Big pop from the crowd at the announcement and after a brief pause the
house
lights dim slightly and 'Pretty As A Swastika' by Marilyn Manson hits
hard over
the PA. The fans almost immediately fill the building with boo's.]
Marc Lowrance: The time is upon us folks! The bout we've been
waiting all night
for is here!
[The camera cuts to a shot of the stage which is illuminated by purple
and
white strobe lights as Chris Fury's entrance video plays on the giant
video
screen as the fans continue to boo. After a brief moment Chris Fury
makes his
way through the curtain and the booing from the sellout crowd becomes
even more
deafening.]
Marc Lowrance: Well, we were wondering what kind of reaction Fury would
receive
from these fans here tonight. Being a WCCW guy going up against a guy
from
another organization for the world title, I thought he may receive a
little bit
of a warmer of a reception than normal, but I guess not.
Bob Bradley: Of course not. The guy is jerk! He's good. But he's a
jerk! A good
jerk!
[The challenger is wearing a pair of black tights covered with various
white and
purple logos and designs, along with a black, sleeveless, hooded ring
jacket,
and shiny black boots. At his side is the one and only Doctor Vincent
Saddler,
who is wearing his usual custom made black designer suite, black
sunglasses,
and holding his infamous cane.]
Bill Smith: Introducing first, the challenger; being accompanied to the
ring by
Doctor Vincent Saddler, from Toronto, Ontario Canada, he weighs in at
232
pounds... Chrrrriiiissss Fuuuurrrrryyyyyy!!!!!
[Fury slowly makes his way down the aisle with a confident and focused
look in
his eyes. He ignores the legions of fans alongside the aisle that
heckle and
taunt him as he makes his way down the aisle with Saddler.]
Marc Lowrance: The challenger definitely looks focused and ready for
this one, partner.
Bob Bradley: Of course he does. He's waited for this very match, for
twelve
long years. I think he's ready, and I think we're going to witness
history here
tonight.
[Chris Fury enters the ring and climbs up onto one of the turnbuckles
as he
stares out into the audience. The camera zooms in on his face which has
not
changed it's expression since he emerged from backstage. Fury hops back
down,
removes his ring jacket, and talks a little bit of strategy with
Saddler as his
music eventually fades out.]
Marc Lowrance: This is a bone-chilling atmosphere here tonight.
Announcer 2: The anticipation is killing me.
[The lights in the arena blink out one at a time as the haunting
opening melody
of Dream On by Aerosmith begins to play. The crowd buzzes, but the
arena
remains dark…]
♫♫Every time
♫♫That I look in the mirror
♫♫All these lines on my face
♫♫Gettin’ clearer
♫♫The past is gone
♫♫It went by
♫♫Like dusk to dawn
♫♫Isn’t that the way
♫♫Everybody’s got their dues in life to pay
[As the last word trails off, smoke fills the entryway, illuminated by
three
brilliant floodlights. As the smoke continues to pour, the song
continues]
♫♫I know
♫♫Nobody knows
♫♫Where it comes and where it goes
♫♫I know its everybody’s sin
♫♫You got to lose to know how to win
[A pair of strobe lights, one red, one blue, begin flashing, casting
the arena
in lights flashing like a siren, giving everything an eerie quality.
The song
plays on, with the World Heavyweight Champion still not seen]
♫♫Half my life is in books written pages
♫♫Live and learn from some fools and some sages
♫♫You know its true
♫♫All the things
♫♫Come back to you
[The floodlights pop off just before the chorus begins, as do the
strobe
lights. As the chorus begins, one bright red spotlight shines,
illuminating the
back of Cavenaugh's legs as he stands facing the curtain in the smoke]
Bill Smith: And his opponent, from Baltimore, Maryland, weighing in at
two-hundred and eighty-five pounds, representing Bad Ass Championship
Wrestling, he is the National Wrestling Alliance Heavyweight Champion
of the
world, Michael SNAKE EYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES
Cavenauuuuuuugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
♫♫Sing with me
[At the next "sing" another light pops on, this one illuminating
Michael's back, bathing him in that crimson glow]
♫♫Sing for the years
[Before the next "sing" a final spotlight comes on, illuminating all
of Cavenaugh]
♫♫Sing for the laughter
[At the next "sing", the light changes to blue]
♫♫Sing for the tears
[Before the final 'sing', Cavenaugh turns, the title belt around his
waist, and
the spotlight changes back to red. He begins to walk towards the ring,
with the
color changing on every step]
♫♫Sing with me
♫♫Its just for today
♫♫Maybe tomorrow the good lord will take you away
[Cavenaugh strides to the ring, his short black hair spiked, the tips
crimson.
His Vandyke has been trimmed to barely more than a whisper, the tips
colored
the same crimson as his hair. The standard ring attire of black jean
shorts,
black motorcycle boots, and a pair of fingerless black weightlifting
gloves is
not accompanied by any braces or straps tonight, as if ignoring the
injuries
will make them disappear. Cavenaugh does not take his eyes off the ring
as he
walks]
♫♫Dream on
♫♫Dream on
♫♫Dream yourself a dream come true
♫♫Dream on
♫♫Dream on
♫♫Dream until your dream comes true
♫♫Dream on
♫♫Dream on
♫♫Dream on...
[Cavenaugh enters the ring, shakes hands with the referee, and takes
his
position in the corner.]
[The song comes to an end and the house lights come back up. There is a
mixed
reaction from the crowd, as many of the fans cannot stand Cavenaugh,
but
despise Fury even more. The two come together in the center of the ring
and
stand face to face. Fury looks up at the much taller Cavenaugh, a look
of pure
defiance in his eyes.]
Marc Lowrance: Well here we go folks, the first main event of Jon
Darkstar’s
incarnation of WCCW, here at Nightmare: New Beginnings, and an
appropriate new
beginning indeed folks. WCCW wrestler of the year 2010 Chris Fury
taking on the
NWA Heavyweight Champion, Michael Cavenaugh.
DING DING DING
[The bell rings, and the two men lock up in a collar and elbow tie up.
Cavenaugh muscles Fury into the corner. He goes for a chop, but Fury
ducks
under him and grabs Cavenaugh from behind. He attempts to lift
Cavenaugh up
into a german suplex, but Cavenaugh grabs the ropes, stopping Fury’s
momentum.
Fury then tries to roll him up into a pinning combination, but instead
rolls
out to the center of the ring, Cavenaugh still holding onto the ropes.]
Marc Lowrance: And things seem to be at a stalemate here, neither man
is able to
take control thus far.
[Fury bounces off of the ropes, now running at Cavenaugh. He attempts
to
deliver a cross-body block, but is caught in mid-air by Snake Eyes!
Cavenaugh
slams him down into a powerslam and goes for the cover! 1…-Kickout by
Fury!]
Bob Bradley: Cavenaugh trying to make this a short night of work, but
he’s
going to need more than that to take down WCCW’s Superstar of the year.
[Fury now gets to his feet at the same time is Cavenaugh, both men are
trading
fists in the center of the ring. Fury runs off the ropes, and delivers
a
dropkick to the left knee of Snake Eyes! Cavenaugh drops to the mat.]
Marc Lowrance: What a dirty tactic by Fury! Targeting the documented
knee that
Caveanugh has problems with.
Bob Bradley : Whether or not you like the guy, ya gotta admit
that Fury’s got a
brain up in that head of his, he’s made some right career decisions
over the
past year or so that put him where he is today.
[Fury begins stomping away at the knee of Cavenaugh, and then
administers the
sharpshooter! The larger Cavenaugh is quick to power his way to the
ropes,
still early on in the match. The referee signals for the break.
1…2…3…4- And
like that Fury breaks the hold, the referee backs Chris into a corner,
allowing
Cavenaugh to get to his feet.]
Bob Bradley: It’s going to take a bit more than that to take down Snake
Eyes!
He’s come a long way throughout his career to get where he is today,
and isn’t
about to give up now!
[Chris moves in the direction of Cavenaugh, and delivers a European
uppercut,
knocking the big man off balance. He locks him and is about to bring
him down
in a Russian legsweep, but Snake Eyes reverses the momentum, and takes
Fury
down to the canvas!]
Marc Lowrance: It looks like Cavenaugh’s beginning to turn the tide
here!
[Cavenaugh picks Chris up, and delivers a snap suplex. He then lifts
him up
again, and irish whips him into the corner. Cavenaugh runs after him,
and BOOM!
He delivers a shoulder into the midsection of Fury.]
Bob Bradley: That had to hurt.
[Cavenaugh now sets Fury up on the turnbuckle. It looks as if he is
getting
ready to deliver a superplex, as he hooks Fury in. WAIT! Saddler just
climbed
onto the apron, he’s grabbing Fury by the legs! The ref can’t see
anything from
this angle!]
Marc Lowrance: C’mon ref! Here’s Doctor Vincent Saddler, sticking his
nose where
it doesn’t belong once again!
[Cavenaugh’s inability to lift Fury from the turnbuckle results in Fury
throwing Snake Eyes down to the mat. As soon as he sees Cavenaugh hit
the mat
he leaps off, delivering a moonsault! He covers, 1..2..kickout by Snake
Eyes.]
Bob Bradley: Well at least Cavenaugh was able to rebound from that.
[Fury sees Snake Eyes attempting to get to his feet, he runs off the
ropes, and
leaps in the air to deliver a shining wizard, - what? CAVENAUGH
REVERSES
CATCHING FURY IN MID AIR WITH A SHORT ARM CLOTHESLINE!!!]
Marc Lowrance: Unbelieveable! A veteran move by Snake Eyes!
Bob Bradley: Fury just did a 360 in mid air!
HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
[Thinking that should be enough, Cavenaugh makes the cover. 1…2…NO!
Kickout by
Fury! Cavenaugh pounds the mat in frustruation. Fury gets to his feet,
and
Cavenaugh delivers a swinging neckbreaker. He goes for the cover again.
1..2..-kickout
by Fury.]
Marc Lowrance: Unbelieveable!
[Cavenaugh gets to his feet, and grabs Fury around the neck again, He
attempts
to deliver another neckbreaker, and Fury converts it into a backslide.
He
attempts the cover! 1..2-no! Prompt kickout at 2 by Cavenaugh! Snake
Eyes gets
up and is hit with a DDT by Fury! Covers 1..2..Kickout again by
Cavenaugh! Fury
is screaming at the referee and aruguing about the count with him.]
Marc Lowrance: Niether man willing to give up here!
[Cavenaugh is getting back to his feet, and Fury grabs his leg,
attempting to
deliver a dragon screw, Cavenaugh blocks it, and gives fury a shot to
the head.
He is pounding away at Fury, and sending him back towards the apron. He
delivers an irish whip to Fury, sending him off the ropes. He takes off
on the
other side, but Saddler grabs Snake Eyes’s leg. Snake turns around to
face
Saddler in a fit of rage, and Fury drops down delivering another chop
block to
the leg of Cavenaugh! Cavenaugh drops to the mat clutching his knee.]
Marc Lowrance: Snake Eyes is hurt here!
[Fury lifts Snake Eyes up to his feet. Out of nowhere, SNAKE BYTE DDT
by
Cavenaugh! Fury’s motionless on the canvas. He goes to cover, wait a
second,
Saddler is up on the apron distracting the referee while Cavenaugh has
Fury
pinned!]
Bob Bradley: Whatever this guy needs to do, he does. That’s why Saddler
is
indeed a good manager.
[As Saddler is up doing whatever he is doing to the official, Jay
Jousma hops
over the guardrail and gets up on the apron next to Saddler, who the
Doctor now
turns his attention to. The crowd is going crazy!]
Marc Lowrance: Jay Jousma is here! It looks as if he’s going to take
matters into
his own hands with Saddler!
[Jousma climbs up onto the apron with Saddler, and throws him off of it
into
the guardrail. Snake Eyes gets up from the pin to see Jousma on the
apron, and
the referee accosting him. He walks over and lands a stiff right to the
jaw of
Jousma, sending him crashing to the floor!]
Bob Bradley: It looks like Cavenaugh just thought that Jousma was
holding up
the count here!
[Cavenaugh turns around to find a standing Fury, who lifts him up onto
his
shoulders, and boom! POSTHUMAN PLUNGE!!! He goes for the cover!
1
2
NO! CAVENAUGH KICKS OUT! The fans are going crazy!]
Marc Lowrance: It looks like Snake Eyes still has something left in the
tank,
after getting his brain scrambled with that posthuman plunge by Fury!
[Suddenly, out of nowhere,, Samuel Monroe, slips to ringside from the
crowd. The crowd goes absolutely crazy!]
Marc Lowrance: Holy Hell, it's Samuel Monroe! What's he
doing here? I mean, he's not even booked for this show!
[Cavenaugh sees Monroe, and leans over the rope to give Monroe hell,
when suddenly, Monroe hits him full in the face with some kind of
powder!!! Cavenaugh falls back in towards the center of the ring,
wiping his eyes. Fury gets up, with a look on his face as if he
sees blood in the water.
Cavenaugh is slowly getting to his feet, and is hit with another
posthuman
plunge by Fury!!!! He covers again!
1
2
3!!!! IT’S OVER!!!!]
Marc Lowrance: It's over! It's over! We've got a new heavyweight
champion of the
world!!! Chris Fury has done it!
Bob Bradley: I knew it! I told ya he'd do it!
[As the bell sounds to end the match Fury's music kicks in as he pulls
himself
to his feet. The referee hands him the NWA World Heavyweight Title
belt, and he
just holds it and stares at it for a couple seconds before a huge grin
develops
on his face.]
Bill Smith: The winner of the match! And new NWA World Heavyweight
Champion!
Chrrrrrissss Fuuuuuuurrrrrryyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!
[Most of the crowd is booing, while surprisingly a good portion is also
standing up and applauding the new champion.]
Marc Lowrance: Well, love him or hate him, Chris Fury has brought the
World's
Title back to World Class Championship Wrestling here at New Beginnings!
[Doctor Vincent Saddler gingerly enters the ring and hugs Fury, then
grabs his
right arm and raises it in the air, as Fury holds the World title belt
in the
air with his other hand. He then hops up onto one of the turnbuckle and
holds
the belt up with both hands while yelling something out at the crowd.]
Bob Bradley: Well the guy might be a dick, but I'm glad he pulled it
off
tonight. What a way to kickoff this new era is WCCW!
[Cavenaugh is beginning to stir, and immediately pulls his way over to
the
ropes, shooting an evil glare at Jousma, who is also beginning to pull
himself
up from the wreckage.]
Marc Lowrance: You said it partner! Only time will tell what’s going to
happen
from here!
[Fury exits the ring, throws his new belt over his shoulder, and slowly
makes
his way back down the aisle, with a huge smile on his face and Doctor
Saddler
by his side.]
Marc Lowrance: That about does it for us folks. Thanks for tuning into
this
historic show, where not only did we witness a new beginning for WCCW,
but
apparently for the NWA as well, as Chris Fury is your new World
Heavyweight
Champion! Goodnight!
[Fury and Saddler stand at the entrance area, facing the crowd, and
Saddler
once again raises Fury's hand in the air as the camera slowly zooms in
on the
new champs smiling face. Fade out. The WCCW logo flashes across the
screen,
followed by the NWA logo.]
